Challenge #153 Anything Goes!

Hello!  Welcome back to my little space on the big world wide web.  So glad to have you take time to visit.  Since it's right before the Christmas Holiday, all Crafty Gals Corner Challenges will be 'anything goes' until January 2018.  But first lets see who our wonderful sponsor(s) is for this week.

Prize:  10 Euro's

Her site is so amazing.  Gobs and Gobs of delightful images to select for your next project.  Remember to show some love her way.

Now on to my project for this week.  I have used a Alicia Bel image called Christmas Snowsphere.  There are so many ways to use this image.  I decided to make a shadow layer with a extension for the fold.  I used my Silver Bullet Cutter and the fabulous Sure Cuts A Lot software.  This machine will even cut thin metal.

So here is my creation, I hope you get some really creative ideas.

Here is the official challenge picture.

This is the one that I like the most.

So short and sweet this week.  I want to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas.  I will be back with another inspiring creation in 2 weeks.

Bright Blessings, Jana

Crafty Gals Corner Challenge # 151 'Anything Goes'

Welcome to my blog.  So happy that you could take some 'me' time and come visit.  This weeks challenge is 'Anything Goes'.  I have chosen an image from a great sponsor.  So first let me introduce the sponsor(s) for this week.

Prize:  $15 Gift certificate

I just have to tell you, go visit Sparkle N Sprinkle!  What a fantastic company and their images are fantastic.  Sparkle N Sprinkle have images to suit any occasion!

Now this week, I have used the image Flying Birthday Girl.  This image was so fun to create with.  I wanted to make a birthday card for a dear friend.  This was just perfect.  So let me show you what I created.

Isn't she wonderful!

Back of the card.

This card was quick and easy (Christmas Time is always busy).  I am sure that she will get a big kick out of this card.

Thats it for this week.  I'll be back on December 13, 2017 for another creation!

' Thankful' Challenge #149

This time of year I get to thinking about things/moments that are in the past.  I remember great big family dinners with cousins, aunts and uncles.  I remember and still crave my Auntie Francis's homemade dinner rolls.  She had to make special pans for us kids to eat right out of the oven with plenty of butter.  So this week is your chance to be 'Thankful".  It could be gatherings of family, not having to drive this year or anything you want.  So dream up something you are thankful for.  Before I show you what I came up with; lets see who our sponsor(s) are for this week.

Prize: 2 Digital Images

Prize:  2 Digital Images

Holy moly, two of my favorite sponsors this week.  If you can, go visit and leave some love.  My image this week is 3 Autumn Girls by All Dressed Up.  All of their images are crisp and clean and they import to a cutter program like SCAL4 or MTC beautifully.  I am very thankful for my great girlfriends.  We might not have gotten together for a long time, but when we do it's like we just talked yesterday.  So this is for Dolores and Carolyn.  Love you ladies.

I just love how this card came out.

Now I just have to make another card and I can send one to each of my girlfriends.  I am also thankful for all of you that come and visit each week.  It makes me feel honored.

Be back in two weeks.  Off the top of my head I don't know what the challenge is but it's almost Christmas.  Stay Tuned!!!

Blessings, Jana

Challenge #147 Harvest Colors Crafty Gals Corner challenge

I am writing this as little munchkins are traveling the streets looking for treats.  I LOVE Halloween!  I have since I was a kid myself.  Dressing up and pretending to be someone or thing is to this day something I enjoy.  So it is NO surprise that this weeks challenge is Harvest Colors.  But as always, lets see who our fantastic sponsor(s) are for this week.

Prize:  3 Digital Images

Have you recently looked at Morgans Art World shop?  It is simply amazing.  So many beautiful images to color.  I always get lost in creating cards in my head and want to purchase everything!  So THANK YOU Morgans Art World for being our sponsor this week.

So this week I have a image called Fae 37.  It's a mandala with a faery in the center and a beautiful border of leaves and flowers.  I colored the image using Sivo Vivid Colored Pencils.  Then cut out the circle and edged with gold ink.  The background is a paper I found years ago at Tuesday Morning.  It is a ColorBok product.  Next I rounded the corners of the background paper.  I had some left over leaves and trimmed them down.  Glued each leaf down.  I used some window foam that you use to block a draft to lift up the mandala.  It's sticky on one side only so I still needed to use my ATG.  Smacked that baby down found a sparkle for a corner and that's it.  Here is the finished product!

My Harvest Color Challenge inspiration!
Thank you so much for visiting.  The Crafty Gals team will be back on November 18 with another fabulous challenge.  So Happy Halloween!  Bright blessings, Jana

Challenge # 145 Use Halloween Colors

Welcome back to the wonderful world of Rhapsody on Paper.  Home of the Crafty Belles team for Crafty Gals Corner Challenge.  I have another creative inspiration for the week.  First though, lets see who our fabulous sponsor(s) are for this challenge.

Prize:  3 Digital Images

Make sure that you show some love to our sponsor this week.  Without sponsors, there would be no Crafty Gals Corner Challenges each week.  So thank you OddBall Art Company!!!

My image this week is Tiffany the Terrible.  I don't think she is so terrible.  She was a joy to color.  Since the challenge is use Halloween colors, I used tradition colors and more modern colors.  So here is my inspiration for this week.

This weeks post is short but sweet.  Make sure you check out the amazing entries on the challenge blog.  Hope that your week is the best week ever!

Challenge #143 'Add a bat'.

It's that time of year, and time for decorating the house for Halloween.  For the past 39 years I have made sure that Halloween was up by Oct. 5th.  That is my daughters birthday.  So the tradition continues!

For this weeks creation our challenge is too add a bat.  How fun is this!!  But first, let me tell you about this weeks sponsor(s).

SCRAP-N-DIPITY

Prize:  3 Digital Images

What a great sponsor!  I love working with these images.  Some are simple some are complex.  But all of them make me smile.  Head on over and show them some love.

This challenge I selected a very cute image called Lil Witch and Kitty.  Being that I send out a lot of Halloween cards I made 4 of them (and each one is a different color).  Here is what I came up with.

Here is the first one.  See the hair and the kitties ear and tail match!

I still need to make some envelopes.  I think I have a grand total of 30 Halloween cards.  Yeah Me!
Now I need to get busy designing some new Christmas cards.

Thanks so much for coming over and visiting for a little while.  If you have any questions please shoot me a message.

Have your best week ever!!!  Jana

Challenge #141 'FANCY FOLDS' with CGCC and team Crafty Belles

Hello, hello, hello!!!   So glad to have you come and visit my blog in the blog-a-sphere.  This weeks challenge is FANCY FOLDS.  So what in the heck does that mean?  Well as an example, an easel card would be considered a fancy fold.  But first, let me tell you about our absolutely fabulous sponsor(s) for this weeks challenge.

The Paper Nest Dolls

$20 Dollar Gift Certificate

Lia Stampz

2 images the DT has used

Sparkle n Sprinkle

$15 gift certificate

Wow, 3 incredible sponsors.  Please go and give them some love.  Without sponsors  there would not be a Crafty Gals Corner Challenges.  We LOVE our sponsors!!!

I wanted to do a center step card for my fancy fold.  So off to Splitcoast Stampers.  This is a wonderful resource for anything related to card making.  Go check them out.  So this week I have an image called Stella Dear Santa by Sparkle N Sprinkle.   I like traditional Christmas cards but they are NOT my style.  I like a Christmas card that will make you laugh!  So here is my creation...

This is the front on view.

Here is the side view to show you the fancy folds.

That's it for this week.  Now the Crafty Belles Team is off next week so we will see you again on October 4, 2017.  October 5 is my DD birthday and I usually make something for her.  So expect a couple of posts over at Have Colors, Be Happy!  This is my other blog.  Please come on over and see what the heck I am up to now!

Bright Blessings and Happy Fall

Challenge #139 Favorite Colors with the Crafty Belles

Welcome to my blog.  So happy your found your way here.  This weeks challenge is Favorite Colors.  But I have a problem, I really don't have a favorite color.  I LOVE all colors and the brighter the better.  So for this weeks challenge I have used bright and shiny colors in my creations.  But first lets see who our fabulous sponsor(s) are.

PRIZE:  3 DIGITAL IMAGES/1 DIGITAL SET

I am a very big fan of Beccys Place.  Her images are beautiful and some very humorous.  Stop on over and share some love.

Now for my creation, I have used a Beccys Place image called Disco Fever.  This is such a fun image and is useful for many occasions.  But I used the image for a set of birthday cards.  So here it is...
